For one of our clients in the hospitality industry, we are now looking for a:
Food and Beverage Director
Responsibilities:
- The Food and Beverage Director will be responsible and accountable for planning and managing the human resources and all operations of the Food and Beverage division in the hotel;
- The Food and Beverage Director will be responsible for delivering the highest standards in both service and food quality in all outlets. They will also be responsible for further developing and managing all Food and Beverage processes, policies and S.O.P's. Other areas include maintaining all Food and Beverage area's standards of cleanliness and organization to that of senior management and ownership's expectations. This position is responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the Food & Beverage operations in the front and back of the house. The Food and Beverage Director is also responsible for delivering financial results, as set forth in the business and operating plans and develops and recommends the budget, marketing initiatives and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of 10 year(s) of supervisory experience;
- Requires a minimum of 15 year(s) of experience;
- Experience as Chef and in Front of the house;
- Solid progression through F&B ranks;
- Track record building outlet volume and average checks;
- Experience with very busy banquet operations;
- Experience implementing new F&B concepts;
- Track record developing profitable F&B promotions;
- Current on latest technology applications for front and back of the house;
- Experience developing, costing, pricing, and merchandising menus;
- Establish and maintain proper inventories;
- Build beverage volume;
- Quick service high volume hotel restaurant background highly desired.
