Group services operational manager

Our client is a chandeliers organization with twelve stores in 10 different Caribbean countries in the boating industry. There is also a Distribution Centre and Group Services.

The Group Services Operational Manager will manage the day-to-day and project based operations of Group Services departments which is based on Service Level Agreements and executed in close cooperation with the organizations locations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage 7 different departments, with a total amount of 9 FTE;
- Understand the different needs of each department and can relate to them not only on a professional level, but also on a personal level;
- By visiting all locations minimal once a year you know the needs and expectations from all locations towards the Group Services;
- You are used of delivering performance based services;
- Develop, implement, execute and evaluate Service Level Agreements;
- Understand the different needs and expectations of store managers, shareholders and personnel and you are able to manage these needs and expectations and guide them into a deliverable service.

Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree;
- At least 5 years experience;
- Experience in retail management;
- Experience in facility management, purchasing and warehousing;
- Management skills including planning, organization, direction and control;
- Strong personality who is commercial, customer focused, result oriented and financial driven;
- Affinity with the boating industry;
- Good communication skills in English and Dutch;
- Preference for a candidate already located in the Dutch Caribbean.
